Holistic Health, Body, Mind and Spirit, Albany, WA – It’s thanks to Chris that I learned Reiki as I completed my Reiki I, II and Masters training with her. Her classes are well prepared and she is patient, compassionate and kind. As well as Reiki, Chris also offers psychic readings, crystal healings, hypnotherapy and timeline therapy as well as several other wonderful services. Katie Stan-Bishop, Pelvic Health Physiotherapy – Katie is an APA titled Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience in physiotherapy. In addition to pelvic health physiotherapy, she has commenced further studies and training in the field of pain science and education which led to her involvement in the Pioneer Health Pelvic Pain Clinic. She is focused and dedicated to high quality care to clients in the Great Southern, and places a high focus on client-centred holistic, multidisciplinary care.

Crystal Vibes and Energy – These guys are a small family run business based in Albany, WA. Their shop is amazing and their mission is to provide you with the best quality crystals at affordable prices. They have unique pieces from around the world as well as an ever-growing selection of every day crystals, incense, books and tarot cards.

Sustainable Motion, Albany – I was very impressed with OT services from these guys. They massively helped me recover from shoulder problems following a broken arm and I’d highly recommend their services.

Beyond The Banyan Tree, Denmark, WA – A counselling and wellness service for the town of Denmark, WA and beyond. Bek is a recently qualified Counsellor and long-term practicing Registered Nurse / Mental Health Nurse. Her passions are integrated toward child/adolescent development, sexual health, dementia / older adult health, women’s health, palliative care and chronic conditions.

Neurodivergence:

The Happy Giraffe, Albany, WA – As a Neurodivergent family living in beautiful Albany, The Happy Giraffe understand many of the challenges (and advantages) that families experience living in a rural community. They are passionate about providing a growing range of sensory products to support our local families, services and the wider community.

The Squarepeg Podcast – Wonderful UK podcast plus other resources designed to help late-identified autistic adults navigate diagnosis, find their true selves again afterwards, and imagine and create lives in which they can be themselves, and not have to fit themselves into boxes shaped by society’s expectations. On the podcast, autistic women and nonbinary / genderqueer people are interviewed about their experiences of being autistic and how it impacts their lives.

The Neurodivergent Woman Podcast – The Neurodivergent Woman Podcast is aimed at amplifying the voices and experiences of neurodivergent women, girls and AFAB folk from all walks of life. They also aim to provide quality and accessible mental health information, and educate and inform the world about neurodivergence, from ADHD to autism and everything in between.

WA Seabird Rescue Albany – These dedicated volunteers rescue sick, injured and misplaced seabirds and waterbirds, covering Albany, Denmark and Cheynes Beach. You can also phone the hotline number on: 08 6102 8464 if you find a bird that needs rescuing.

Born Free Wildlife Carers Inc. – Born Free is an organisation of wonderful volunteers who are dedicated to the care and rewilding of rescued native Australian animals throughout the Great Southern region of Western Australia. Their mission statement is simple – rescue, rehabilitate, release. They can also be contacted on: 0427 772 312 if you find a native animal in need of rescue.

Animal Support Op Shop, Albany – Wonderful 100% volunteer-based op shop at 42G Sanford Road, Centennial Park with amazing prices and fantastic staff. All proceeds go directly to local domestic and native animal charities and rescue groups.
